Dr. Syed Ali, D.P.M.
Dr. Ali founded Horizon Foot and Ankle Specialists of Illinois to bring attentive, modern podiatric care to West Chicago and the surrounding communities. He believes every patient deserves time, clear answers, and a treatment plan that fits their life — not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Dr. Ali completed a rigorous, high-volume surgical residency, gaining hands-on experience in more than 600 surgical cases spanning forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, trauma, and wound care. That depth of training means patients benefit from a surgeon who is confident, precise, and prepared — whether the plan calls for conservative care or a surgical solution.
With experience across general podiatry, surgical care, and geriatric foot health, Dr. Ali treats patients from active teenagers to seniors managing diabetic foot care, always with the same focus: getting you back to doing what you love, comfortably.
A surgeon's training, a neighbor's care
Before opening Horizon Foot and Ankle, Dr. Ali completed an intensive podiatric surgical residency, logging hands-on experience across more than 600 surgical cases — from routine bunion and hammertoe correction to complex reconstructive and trauma procedures.
That volume and variety of training built the kind of judgment that only comes from repetition: knowing when surgery is the right call, when it isn't, and how to get patients through recovery as smoothly as possible.
